Waterfalls In Cornwall
"Registration and Registration" Critic Criticism
Many times I asked my readers
I point out the flaws they find in my writings.
I'm glad when I do get criticism, because when I undress my mistakes
require more temperate judge's errors and
also a study in order to overcome these flaws and not
incur them again.
For today I took a friend benévolo1 that
had the courage to read a work that had dedicated
to land registration, I asked him to explain the reason why
to refer to the effect of the seat
data in a register, used the word "registration", which is not
in the dictionary of the Royal Academy, which uses just
"record" when it comes to the actual action of the verb
"save" 2.
turns out that, without having stopped before
meditate on the problem, in my writings distinguished, almost unconsciously
between "registration" as a place where data are recorded,
and "registration" as the act of settling these data. Action and effect
The observación3 formulate the friend I
prompted me to inquire how, from a verb which is characterized

4. Email sent on October 19, 2002 to William Frederick Campbell
, which stated:
"... I send the text of the letter that I refer to the formation of words
Spaniards, by adding a suffix, from
infinitive of a verb, to get the word that means "action and effect of that verb
.
action, we arrive in our language to give a name to the
action itself, and the specific effects of that action and see that
Usually this is achieved from the infinitive of the verb, no doubt
contained in Dictionary
adding a suffix to get the word for "action and effect" mentioned
verb. I must confess here that
Critic, plus
errors often slip into your notes, has several other defects,
among them have a poor memory, and a disorder
egregious in its files, and this prevents it at this time
give the name of the person who ordered the small slip
had committed with the use of the word "registration" and find
full text of the reply he sent,
trying to justify the use of that term. But
the wonders of modern technology that is replacing the old
epistolary correspondence by emails that are archived in
the hard drive of a computer, found a few hours with
a partial copy of that letter, sent to a restless young scholar and
attending the Seminar of Comparative Law dictates that
National Academy of Law Córdoba4. Formation of words
In the letter, whose date was not recorded,
and was sent to a recipient unknown today, stated:;
"... What concerned me most was your comment on
the word "registration" as the action and effect of recording,
as well as the signals do not appear in either
Language Dictionary, or in other dictionaries, which
3
to mention only the meaning "record."
The fact forced me to make a search yesterday
in the Grammar of the Language and resorted to the old but very
complete edition of 1931 in which Chapter IX is "De
the formation of words, and primarily deals of
the "bypass" that is form new words,
usually by way of adding a suffix to a word
radical having independent existence in the language
(see p. 129).
One way to "bypass" is the
called "nominal" (Gramática. .., No. 182, p. 131), and we see there that there are several suffixes
Castilian employees to shape the substantive
have the meaning of "action and
effect for a verb. These suffixes
one of the employees is
"mento" or "lie" (p. 141), but also meet
similar role with the suffix 'aje "(p. 132, citing as examples
approach, storage , packaging, hosting,
etc.).., and "elderly" or "dence" (p. 133, assonance,
andancia, resonance, and worship, teaching, etc..) and we are concerned
"tion "" ation "or" ition ", which the
Grammar is only used in verbs
the first and third conjugation (p. 135), another
suffix used for that purpose is" hard "(p. 136, are cited as examples encompassing,
embroidery, moreover, cleavage, and I would add voyage).
Finally, as another option for training
of words that mean "action or effect
find (though I have not seen it mentioned on grammar), the termination apocopate
infinitive, reducing it to
only an "o" as in "record", the verb record,
and "respect", "reject", "replacement", "insulting" "treatment", etc.
., although it is good to note that in the case of
verb "treat" we have two words to denote derivatives 4
action and effect "treatment" and "treatment." I've even taken
Dictionary and revised
first few pages and there the first voice that came across the
meaning of action and effect, formed by derivation, is
"down." It happens then, with the ending "tion"
abaldonamiento, abalizamiento, abanderamiento, abaratamiento,
, shorter form found in
then abandoned ..
with "tion", although not as frequently appear
many words from abdication and aberration ...
The word "abyss" not found in the Dictionary
any nominal derivation, but I've heard used
"Abyss" (not abismaje or abismadura, or introspection, they are not euphonic
).
In short, not to elaborate any further. There are different suffixes
serving a similar function, some are very common
use and are listed in the Dictionary; other
not listed, but this is no obstacle to the
living language to form new words on a similar path,
this to happen even though there was another
previously in use.
In the present case did not watch the Dictionary
previously, and "registration" is not objectionable and

5. I could check after "registration" is also used
in Uruguay (see El País, Montevideo, August 10, 2010) and
Chile (see Internet Howa Santiago de Chile, July 19, 2010), which
to test the use of the word in the language of the countries of the "Southern Cone" of Latin
